Flying Carpets is a Scottish Company based in the Highland town of Kingussie and situated in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. Trading for eleven years, we specialize in importing new and antique rugs, carpets, textiles and other crafts directly from Central Asia. (Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, and the North-West Frontier province.)

Central Asia has one of the most ancient weaving cultures in the world, the traditional designs and bold colours have been admired and respected for centuries.We hope you like our stock selection which includes everything from vintage tribal rugs such as Turkmen and Beluch to more recent city carpets such as Kazak and Ziegler/ chobi.
